Welcome to our BLVCK Cabin 2, we hope all is well

Take into consideration that It gets dark at night and with the mountain roads its a much more difficult ride in the evening so we would recommend arriving before sunset. Check out is at 10 AM, we have a lot of instances where new guests arrive the same day and need to ensure that we can prepare the house for their arrival.

The lock box is hanging on the entrance door handle on the lower level. The code is ‘0002’ to open the lockbox. Have your flashlight ready on your phone when you arrive if its after sunset.

Important note: If you are having any trouble with checking in, log on to the wireless network and text me. Please take note of the Wifi password before you get to the area in case you may have no cell service. Id recommend screen shot this very page to save for later!

There should not be any trouble with the Wifi, but in case there is a problem try removing the plug from the router behind the chair. Wait a few minutes and plug back in.

GUIDE

House rules:

Please make sure that the person booking is 25 years old or older and is present throughout the stay unless approved. No parties or large events unless approved by our team via Airbnb message. Any guests outside of your confirmed booking will be charged $50 per person per night. Underage drinking is not allowed. We are drug free and smoke free Vacation Rental. Not obeying our House Rules or Community Rules can lead to immediate cancellation even during your stay. Please make yourself familiar with the community rules.

More House Rules:

  • 1) No boots in the house.

  • 2) All children must be under adult supervision at all times.

  • 3) Upon availability you may check in earlier or check out later with a $35 fee.

  • 4) Pets are allowed in the house upon approval (Subject to the additional $50 fee). All pets must be under adult supervision at all times. Please be cognizant of others & do not let dogs on the furniture and beds. Also, please do not use any of our towels on dogs.

  • 5) If the fireplace is being used, it must be under sober adult supervision at all times.

  • 6) We do supply pellets for the indoor pellet stove. Please, do not use pellets for the outdoor fire pit or hot tub - they should only be used for the indoor pellet Stove.

  • 7) Any broken dishes or glasses, ruined/missing towels or/and sheets are subject to additional charges ($25 per item).

  • 8) WOOD - Please, note that we do not provide wood to our guests, but we have some for our personal use available at the property. For your convenience, for one time charge of $25 you may use our wood while staying at the Cabin. Please, let us know if you are planning to use it and we will request the additional charge through Airbnb.

  • 9) This is a wood cabin in the mountains and there is septic sewage and well water. Please do not discard any waste into the toilet as it may clog the plumbing.

  • 10) We have a gas grill, please do not use charcoal inside a gas grill for your own safety. We do not supply propane gas. Please consider getting it on your way to the Cabin at i.e., gas station (Wawa is the closest one to the Cabin) or Brewskies Beverage (55 N Courtland St, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301). Please note that there are empty gas tanks at the Cabin available for refills.

  • 11) If you have additional guests arriving, please inform us as it affects your original reservation.

  • 12) Please do not bring guns to shoot on our lands, please use the proper local facilities.

  • 13) Be respectful to the surroundings and the neighbors. Please keep loud music and social events inside of the house after 10 PM. If you're spending time with your group in front of the fire pit or outside past 10 PM, it is fine but keep all noise down to a minimum. Only one warning will be given.

  • 14) Please, do not use hand towels to remove make up. There will be a $10fee for the towels left with make up on.

  • 15) Please do not place WINE GLASSES in the dishwasher, because they will break. ($10 charge for broken glass)

  • 16) This is a true Mountain cabin so the roads are really steep and some of them are bumpy and have a lot of gravel, please note especially in the winter season we recommend all wheel drive vehicles to access the property in order to get around winter storms.

  • 17) Coffee Machines: The Cabin is equipped with a regular French Press and an espresso machine (Breville BNV250BLK Vertuo Coffee and Espresso Machine by Breville). We do not provide coffee or the Nespresso VertuoLine capsules, please plan accordingly.

  • 18) DO NOT USE THE AC & HEAT AT THE SAME TIME!!

  • 19) Linen: bedding is provided according to the property’s bedding configuration (one kit per bed), as well as one hand towel per bathroom and one bath towel per guest (according to the number of guests that the property accommodates). Washcloths are not provided for sanitary reasons. Washer and dryer are available in case the group feels the need to wash them. Linen shall not be used for cleaning make-up/ floor/etc;

  • 20) Lost and found: we are not responsible for lost/forgotten items, but in case that happens, we will do our best to locate those and ship them back to you.

  • 21) We use a self-catering system. Upon arrival, you’ll find a first use complimentary amenity kit containing:

  • Bathrooms: one roll of toilet paper and travel sized shampoo, conditioner, body wash & lotion per one Full Bathroom;

  • Kitchen Cabinet: one roll of paper towel, extra trash bags (besides the ones on the trash cans), dishwashing detergent, a sponge and a couple of dishwasher pods. We do not provide spices, but usually you may find some left behind by previous guests.

  • Once the amenity kit is over, it is up to the group to provide more for the rest of the stay.

tinyurl.com/473n8pa7 - If you are not sure how to start a fire, we recommend getting one duraflame log, put it in the stove first, cover it with regular wood logs and light it. For quicker results, please keep the stove fully filled up with wood, after an hour or so, put the jets on to circulate the water inside the tub.

To operate the Wood Pellet Stove, please fill harper with pellets available outside labeled WOOD PELLET FUEL if not already filled. Please make sure to clean out the pellet stove (manual below)

Every time you relight. Please do not change the temperature, it will warm up the place gradually and has been set to auto. All you need to is power it on by the remote or pressing the power button twice on the panel attached to the stove.

Please follow the check out instructions prior to leaving to ensure the cabin is left in order upon your departure:

  • Garbage must be taken out and left inside the bins located by the driveaway

  • - Please put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and have them clean or started. We provide detergent in the sink cabinet

  • - Please turn off all the lights

  • - All thermostat must be turned back to their original setting. If you need to take a note, take a picture of the original setting when you arrive.

  • - Please, make sure that both doors are locked before leaving (top and basement)

  • - Please cover the grill, outdoor cushions, the outdoor gas fire pit and the hot tub before you leave

  • - Please leave dirty towels on bathroom floor. No need to do anything with the bedsheets.
